Call me old, or skeptical, or both... paying a company and giving them the data in order for them to instruct others to remove your data sounds like it's just begging for the "good guy" to suffer a data breach at some point in future. Credit search alerts are free on a number of platforms, there is no need to pay a company anything to be told that someone has fraudulently applied for a loan in your name. I'm not even going to recommend a free one (because the same future data breach theory applies). Free credit alerts, 2FA, and calling the bank when something unusual happens (responding to the alert) is the way we all stay safe.
