  1. Many of these graves have been designated as Anglo-Saxons due to the grave goods and the style of burial. However, when dna samples have later been taken, its discovered that they are actually Britons, not Anglo-Saxons at all. Its a bit like digging up a body wearing Levi jeans and assuming its an American, or bured in a BMW car and assuming its owner is German. I wonder if they did any DNA tests on these skeletons it would be interesting to know the results.

  2. If Alice Roberts is involved, you know its going to be good and this was no exception. I was captivated from the very start and couldnt believe when it ended, the time just flew passed. An estremely interesting programme showing we humans have been here on this island for 1million years, its breathtaking.
