  1. Patton never fought Rommel in Tunisia or anywhere else in North Africa. That was Montgomery, and he not only beat him evertime, he drove him, and all Axis forces from North Africa. Patton never fought against any top German troops throughout WW2. The Patton legend is merely a construct of Hollywood, not history.
