England didn't destroy any cultures, they modernised and enriched them.

Very interesting and informative. However, what we now know as the EU has far deeper and darker roots. In 1938 Hitler led an official visit to Rome to meet Mussolini the leader of fascist Italy. While the leading characters enjoyed the usual pleasures of Rome, behind the scenes experts from both countries were in discussions to create a pan European dictatorship. Later in 1941 another conference was held in Berlin where again experts in their field laid out their plans in long speeches. These speeches were later published in a glossy publication with a forward by the Nazi economics minister Walter Funk and entitled The Eurospaisch Wirtschafts Gemeinschaft, which translates as The European Economic Community. These proposals included, a single currency, governance by an unelected high authority and promised peace in Europe in fact all that we have become to associate with the current EU. Nevertheless, after the defeat of both fascist Italy and Nazi Germany these plans were shelved....... or were they? In Rome in 1957 not only Schuman signed the papers that gave birth to the EEC ( they didn't even bother to change the original Nazi name), but so was Nazi lawman Walter Hallstein who had been at the original 1938 visit with Hitler. Hallstein went on to be its first President and in 1973 wrote a book entitled 'Europe in the Making', in which he complains of a few vestiges of democracy still clinging on within the EEC, but then tells how they can soon be removed.

Surely the Oxford theologian John Wycliffe 1320- 1384 was the original architect of the Reformation here in England, not Martin Luther 1483- 1546 ? John Wycliffe translated the bible into English long before Luther did the same in Germany. Wycliffe is even known as the 'Morning Star of the Reformation' and his writings were read all across Europe. Wycliifes followers the Llollards wrote their 'Twelve Conclusions' in 1395 which were nailed to the doors of St Paul's and Westminster Abbey and presented it to Parliament. This was all long before Martin Luther who was obviously inspired by Wycliffe his predecessor, nailed his to the church door in Germany in 1517

Thankyou for putting our current malaise into an historical prospective. We have certainly been here before and though the future now looks bleak, just like in the past we will ultimately triumph. Of that I have no fear ! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

A forensic analysis of the 'partygate' affair by Dr Starkey which resembles his research on historic characters of the past. After listening to it, I must say, I think on this occasion Boris has been made a scapegoat for the blatant disregard for the rules by the actual person who made these rules, and the person who's job it was to enforce them.

A very detailed and interesting discourse on the journey of monarchy right down to King Charles. Which just goes to show the poison pill that the EU put at the heart of our Union, ably abetted through the wilful intrigue of the vile war criminalTony Bliar, and the name of this poison is devolution ! Let's hope King Charles can skillfully remove it before it destroys our precious Union and the Monarchy itself.
