  1. Surely the Oxford theologian John Wycliffe 1320- 1384 was the original architect of the Reformation here in England, not Martin Luther 1483- 1546 ? John Wycliffe translated the bible into English long before Luther did the same in Germany. Wycliffe is even known as the 'Morning Star of the Reformation' and his writings were read all across Europe. Wycliifes followers the Llollards wrote their 'Twelve Conclusions' in 1395 which were nailed to the doors of St Paul's and Westminster Abbey and presented it to Parliament. This was all long before Martin Luther who was obviously inspired by Wycliffe his predecessor, nailed his to the church door in Germany in 1517
