  1. At least these countries had a vote and were allowed to decide on not joining. Britain didn't ! In 1972 PM Edward Heath took us in illegaly and broke our Constitution without the required mandate from the British people. Why did he break our Constitution and his own word of honour to do this ? Because public opinion was 3 to 1 against joining and Heath was determined to join. It has been suggested that he was blackmailed into it as he was a paedophile . Fortunately after 50 years Britain is finally free, but I doubt we will be the last to leave .
