  1. An EU superstate won't work. Unlike the USA, who were not seperate countries just seperate region's. The EU is made up of countries with ancient histories and very different cultures and languages. Also, the only country to leave the EU is Brexit Britain who hasn't fallen off the cliff as predicted, in fact its doing rather better than the remaining EU. Perhaps this is what is fueling the rise of anti EU parties across the EU. So If the EU is to survive, it will need to become less centralised and move away from the idea of a United States of Europe not towards it, which will only hasten its demise.
