  1. The trouble with removing one part of history is where do you start, and where do you stop ? What about the Celts arriving from Europe , the Irish Scotti from Ireland etc. However, if we just confine it to the Anglo Saxons if they didn't come, the Danes would still have landed and probably taken over the whole country and as the Angles who became the English came from Denmark in the first place, would it have made much difference? Who really knows, thoughts fun to speculate .
