  4. First of all ,Co2 is not the poisonous gas that we have been led to believe it is. In fact its the gas of life. All plants need Co2 to grow and it is NOT a greenhouse gas and doesn't make the earth hotter it is actually released from the oceans BY heat, not the other way around. Also I have a 21 year old Rover that like your Ford is spotless and it would create far more pollution to scrap it and manufacture an electric replacement. This nonsense has nothing to do with the climate, its all about the WEF plans for the Great Reset and is all about controlling our lives. Resist by all means available !

  5. All this nonsense is the reason for the climate change con in the first place. First they invent a catastrophe that's not really happening, and even if it were we couldnt control. Then they enact what was their intention in the first place and because they have frightened the public into believing it's all for their own good, they think we won't small a rat and not comply. This is the WEF Great Reset in action ! We must resist by all means available!

  6. It's interesting that the police car expert said his force was the first to use BMWs while Wales had Austins. Yet then admitted the BMW would over heat if you left them ticking over. Austin's never had this problem, yet they are the butt of jokes, whereas BMW are praised for the quality of their engineering which isn't supported by reality.

  8. Once we have all been good boys and girls and bought these very expensive, but not very practical EVs. The Government will then say it was all a mistake, and their value will plummet. Just as they did previously with diesel cars.

  9. They are not concerned about having you travelling in an EV instead of an ICE car, they just dont want you travelling at all. Accept of course on foot in your 15minute city, where you will own nothing but be 'happy'.

  10. I've always bought British cars from the 1960s onwards, though I did own a few foreign ones as well, i always returned to the Brits. All my British cars started in the morning, or indeed anytime I wanted them too. Even today I drive a Rover 45 fitted with a Rover K series, its the 3rd Rover fitted with this Engine and I've never had a head gasket go on any one of them either. 😊 Im often driving down to London or Kent on the M1 and M25 and yes , ive also noticed a growing profusion of MG cars and wondered if people are buying them as the last vestige of a 'British' car. These cars are also powered by Rovers K series engine, (in truth a truly brilliant design) though it now called something else and built by SAIC in China. Though MG cars are headquartered and designed in the UK, so they probably do now have more British connections than anything else now available, sadly !

  11. To be fair, that is a rediculous design fault to have the petrol filler cap right next to a hot engine and the distributor. Im not surprised BP won't allow you to break their safety rules, in case your car catches fire and burns their garage down, which to be honest, is fair enough. Many classic vehicles have to have small updates to make them legal and it wouldn't take much to alter yours. Annoying as it must have been, they fo have a point.
