  1. Britain has already paid for their part in the slave trade when we banished it throughout our Empire in 1807 and the bill to buy all the slaves freedom wasn't paid until 2014. Yet the Africans who sold them into slavery in the first place have never apologised, in fact they have statues celebrating them. Slavery in Africa TODAY is bigger than ever and there are more Aficans in slavery than there have ever been, so why aren't these people asking for compensation from the slavers themselves ? It's like persecuting the drug users, rather than the drug dealers who are making all the money from the suffering !
