  1. This reminds me of George Harrisons song "My Sweeet Lord" which he was taken to court over copyright. A claim was made saying it was copy of the 1960s hit "He's so fine" by the Chiffons. However, George said he had actualy wanted to write a song praising the Indian god Chrisna and based it on the 17h century hymn "Oh happy Day" written by an English clergyman to praise the Christian god. Yet though this song is so old its not copyrighted Harrison lost the case, despite the Chiffons admitting that their song was also based on it. Nevertheless, when you consider that all music is based on the 8 note octave there are bound to be repetitions.
