The British invincible class where not really aircraft carriers, they were through deck cruisers. Therefore, you can't compare them to a real aircraft carrier like the new Japanese ones or indeed the new British Queen Elizabeth class.

@chobai9996 The Chinese carriers are traditional air craft carriers, the invincible class were not, they were through deck cruisers, built for a different role.

The Soviets did join the Axis in 1939 after the Molotov Ribbentrov pact, and then they both invaded Poland.

@skatemo100 The Russians did collaborate with the Nazis by attacking Poland from the east while the Nazis attacked from the west, they both conquered Polish territory and occupied it. That sounds like collaboration to anyone who knows the correct definition of the word.

@skatemo100 The Soviets never attacked the West? What about Finland ? The Russian attacks on Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Ukrain were just a warm up. Russian historian and former intelligence officer Viktor Surovov claimed that Russian had prepared plans to attack the West in the 1940s. This is also claimed by many former German officers. Therefore, they not only did attack the West they had planned more operations.

@skatemo100 Surovov worked in Soviet intelligence so must know quite a lot about Stalins secret plans. Also his claims are supported by many Russian historians including Mikhail Melyukov, Vladimir Nevezhin, Boris Sokolov to name just a few.
