The Labour party used to pick their MPs due their qualities and merits. However, now these no longer matter, instead they are picked due to their gender and ethnicity, and this is the result. Low grade lawless MPs who would struggle to find employment in the lower reaches of society are now in well paid employment, in the very Parliament that makes our laws. Truly shocking !

@Oatcake Sorry oatcake, but whether you support the Tories or not, you have to admit their party is not the scrapping of the barrel like Labour now is. In the past, the Labour party was full of decent ,moral and intelligent members, alas no longer.

@rodneycooperLMSCoach No, that's not true, there are many decent people who go into politics to do good for their country and it's people. But unfortunately, they are the wrong colour, wrong ethnicity, and wrong gender for the 'modern' Labour party
