  1. In the UK we have humane animal slaughter laws to protect the animals from excessive suffering. However, the religions of Islam and Judaism are exempt because humane rules breach their religious doctrine. Nevertheless, the animal suffering should be the main criteria to follow, not outdated barbaric religious practices. That's why both the British Veterinary association and the RSPCA wants sacrificial slaughter banned and all people living in Britain obeying British law, with no exceptions and I agree with them.
