@clemalford9768 Yes that's very true Clem, the original Cassius Clay was a white abolitionist and that's why the black boxer was named after him. Yet he later changed his name to Mohammed Ali after becoming a Muslim. In an interview of the time when he was asked why he changed his name, he said it was because he didn't want to be named after his former slave owner???? Yet, Cassius Clay was never a slave owner, he was an abolitionist, but the name Mohammed from his new "hero" , was actualy both white and a slave owner????? Ignorance is bliss, so they say.

@orangefacedbuddah1776 Exactly! He seemed to be quite gullible and believed thing other people told him without checking it out properly. But wouldn't he realise that his parents wouldn't name him after a slave owner? Crazy!
