@Zantorc I don't have amnesia, nor am I too young. I remember very well the disastrous Labour Government in hock to the unions and their constant strikes. We had regular power cuts, rubbish lying uncollected and even the cemetery gates picketed so even the dead couldn't escape. That's why I voted for Maggie and she soon sorted them out and returned Britian to a well ordered civilised country. The Falklands was just another major triumph of hers. As Simon has demonstrated in this video it's the Lefty lunatics who have a selective amnesia blaming Maggie for what their Lefty lunatic pals really did.

@janettewhitchurch5118 As Simon revealed in this video, it was the Labour party who started to cancel free milk and it was Labours Shirley William's who finished it off. William's also closed Grammar schools so no bright working class child could recieve s first class education and do well in life, like bright wealthy children could. That's why now, the white working class are the lowest in educational achievements, well done Shirley William's , destroyer of dreams and opportunities !!!!!!

@janettewhitchurch5118 Janette, if you give food away in food banks why go to a supermarket where you have to pay for it? Food banks are a self perpetuating arrangement, all the time you give food away there will be a queue to recieve it. But here in the 21st century it is nothing like Victorian times when there was real poverty. People could not afford to eat or cloth themselves many had no shoes. Contrast that with today, where an obese mother and her obese children claim they are starving?????? Yet the UK is now the child obese capital of Europe, the victorian poor really were poor, in every sense of the word.

@michaelroxby3937 The pension robbery was not just the MPS but everyones pension and it was performed by Labours Gordon Brown. I doubt Thatcher would close a pit in support of Heath, she loathed him as do I. I'm sorry to hear that you lost your job due to closures, but unfortunately you were not the first person to find themselves in an industry that was no longer viable, nor I feel will you be the last. Hopefully, since then you have found satisfactory employment so you can look to the future, instead of the past.

@Zantorc Very interesting! I'm aware that a lot of charities are merely tax free fronts for making money. I notice that in 2017 Emma Revie was earning £80,000 per annum as CEO of the Trussel Trust. It always surprises me that people working for supposed charities are paid such large salaries out of the tax free donations intended for the needy, hardly charitable.

I always hated drinking a cows milk, right from my early years in kindergarten. However, I was forced to drink the vile stuff right through my entire schooling. I knew Harold Wilson closed far more pits than Margaret Thatcher but I always assumed it was true that she had stopped free school milk. It just proves, that if you repeat a lie often enough people will believe its true. How long before people think British historical figures like Anne Boleyn were black?

@ruthbashford3176 The housing shortage is down to lack of new homes being built, not selling off councill houses. Tenants rarely moved, they would live in their council house untill they died. Mass uncontrolled immigration without building the houses and infrastructure to support them did more damage, and that started with Labour and continued under the Conservatives!

@michaelroxby3937 But Brown did rob private pensions! He scrapped the tax relief on peoples pension pots. This despite the fact that they had already paid income tax on these savings. Therefore, this raid meant that pension funds would lose an estimated £100billion in value. So the dream of a decent retirement, free of financial worries had been stolen from them.

@chasleask8533 Leave what Chas ? Personally, I'm not sure which is preferable, arse licking, or having you your head so far up your arse you ignore those facts and live a lie. It was the Labour Government who implemented all the measures you blame Thatcher for, but you just can't admit it.
