Simon, we are not talking about someone who stole a chocolate bar from her local sweet shop. Begum stole her sister passport and money from her parents and wilfully left this country to join a terrorist group where she sowed bomb vests on people and dressed up Yazidi girls so they could be sold for rape. She had no compassion for either and even admitted that a dustbin full of severed heads didn't bother her.
