Im English and proud of it. According to my own genealogical research I have traced it back to 11th century Cheshire and later from 16th century Ireland until the 19th century back in England. Therefore, I am Anglo- Irish and this was confirmed by my DNA results that put me at 97% Northern European, mostly English but with Irish ancestors from Cork, then Normandy, Britanny and Scandinavia.

@skathwoelya2935 Just because you heard it said, it doesnt mean what was said is true. However, DNA is a scientific fact, it's not just hearsay

@skathwoelya2935 Yes that's true, like they did here in Britain with the Cheddar Man. But that was for current Woke political reasons. Nevertheless, if you are paying a DNA research facility to test your DNA, it's in their interests to give you an accurate assessment. If they didn't they would soon go out of business. I previously traced my own family using old fashioned genealogical research. However, when I had my DNA tested its interesting how close it followed my own research and just confirmed what I had already discovered.
