I stayed in Bradford only last weekend and I was quite impressed with the Town, especially the architecture. Though I noticed a few beggars around but I didnt feel unsafe and am surprised that Bradford is recorded as more unsafe than Mexico, it certainly didn't feel unsafe at all and i was out until the early hours. There was also a lot of work going on in the streets because next year 2025, it has been designated the UK City of Culture. This award unlocks Government funding to stimulate regeneration through art and culture. So don't be put off visiting it, its no where as 'dangerous' as the quoted crime statistics would suggest, which really surprised me to be honest. Not my experience at all and I come from London which doesnt even get a rating in these crime statistics and believe me, London is far, far more unsafe than Bradford which the stabbings, assaults and murder statistics prove.

@TommeahTommeahTommeah A very informative reply that certainly answers my doubts about its ratings for Bradford. Bradford is not perfect, but it's no where near the crime infested hell hole that these crime statistics suggests it is. Anyone visiting will have a great time there, just as I did only last weekend.
