It's not surprising that David Olusogos book of 'Black and British' is short on both these categories. In fact Olusogo himself is not British, he is the son of a Nigerian and was even born in Nigeria. I wonder what the Nigerians would say if I wrote a book Black or even White and Nigerian, where few of the people were either ? I expect I would be lynched, I doubt they would allow such nonsense, let alone allow it to be published and supplied to our impressionable children, neither should we !

@colinfeltham7293 He doesn't sound particularly British either, when all his 'historical' writing are based on invented nonsense. Perhaps he would be better writing Nigerian history? Though I think Nigerians wouldn't be so sympathetic to such a charlatan rewriting their history to suit his politics.

@colinfeltham7293 Well his father and forefathers lived there for thousands of years and he was born there. But according to you, English culture is so strong it cancelled all that out. Yet his knowledge of English culture and history is frankly very poor. So I wonder if he knows more about his own culture and history than he does about ours, surely he must do.
