Palestine was known as such, long before the Ottomans ruled it and they continued to call it Palestine as did the British when they were given the Mandate. Most of the jews who settled there are eastern Europeans mainly from Poland, they were never native to the area. Even their President, the odious criminal Bejamin Netanyahu originates from Poland his real name is Bezion Melikowski and he is an Ashkenazi Jewish convert who is again not native to the area. Yet ironically, many Palestinians have always lived there and in fact many were the original jews who converted to Islam after the conquest as muslims paid less taxes. So now we have eastern Europeans and others telling the natives that they are 'returning' to an area that they have never actually lived.

@eduardosuarez2414 It's been known as Palestine a lot longer than any other name and its actualy far older than the Roman's. Also Palestinians are not ethnically Arab, as I said previously many Palestinian jews converted to Islam.
