  1. I've noticed that the figure 12 seems to be an ancient and important natural number. As you have said there are 12 months in a year and 24 hours in a day. Also the imperial system seems to follow this natural cycle. As there are 12 inches in a foot and 36 inches in a yard. This is unlike in the man made metric system, because it can be devided evenly into 2, 3, 4, and 6. While deviding the metre equally is far more difficult because it uses the unnatural number of 10.
