@paradoxmo Ireland has always been in a 'common travel area' with the rest of the UK, and this has existed long before the EU. Nevertheless, according to you, more countries will leave the democratic United Kingdom to join the un-democratic EU dictatorship ???? I can't see this myself, or how exactly they will then be independent ? However, it's ever UK members democratic right to leave the UK if they want to, including England's. Leaving the EU dictatorship is far more difficult. Out of the pot, into the fire !

@patrickmccutcheon9361 A dictatorship is Government by an unelected elite. In the EU the elite who run it are not democratically elected as ours is in Britain. The only democratically elected body are MEPs, yet they have no power and are only elected to convince the naive that its democratic. However, if you take the trouble to look closer, you will soon see it's just a veneer of democratic respectability which doesn't survive scrutiny. An example is the election of the President of the European Commission Ursala Von de Leyen a failed German politician who is being investigated for corruption while in office. Yet despite this she was selected in secret behind closed doors and then voted into office by MEPs. This sounds democratic, until you realise that Von de Leyen was the only name on the ballott paper, so couldn't lose. Also EU officials are above the law and cannot be jailed for their law breaking.

@nigelsynnott7344 Ireland lost is independence when it chose to follow the UK into the clutches of the EEC/EU dictatorship 1973. The UK itself was taken in illegally breaking it's own Constitution. Thankfully, Brexit has succeeded in some way of righting this terrible wrong, though not completely.

@nigelsynnott7344 Your ignorance is far more deafening! I've laid out the dictatorial nature of the EU for you in chapter and verse, yet you still keep asking for me to explain it ?????? Also regarding Irish independent tax rates, in 2015 after EU pressure Ireland was forced to drop its 'double irish' tax schemes and in december 2021 the Irish have also been forced to abandon their low tax rates by next year. Therefore, these are not the actions of an 'Independent State' as you claim, but rather of a vasal state obeying its master.

@nigelsynnott7344 No, I laid out the full details before you asked me and you actualy responded to it, yet you now claim you havent read it! Also Ireland were forced by the EU to change their tax rates, they didnt want to, and tried to prevent it. I'm glad you brought up the 'Lisbon treaty' a perfect example of how the EU imposes its demands on member states. Originally it was called the EU Constitution, but it was rejected by various member countries and so the EU just shuffled the papers around called it a treaty and then declared a treaty doesnt need ratification. Only in Ireland due to their rules was a Referendum held, but the EU just made them vote untill they delivered the 'right' result. The end result being that the EU got it's own way, despite many countries declaring they didn't want to hand more Sovereignty to the EU through this Constitution, their protests were ignored and a Constitution was imposed on them. These are yet another indication of the dictatorial nature of the Nazi founded EU.

@nigelsynnott7344 You come across as a closed minded and rather lazy person. You keep asking me to provide information that I have already provided but are too lazy to trace it back to read it. However, I'm not going to constantly rewrite what I've already written, because I doubt that you would accept a 2nd time what you have obviously rejected the 1st time. Though you can't dispute what I have claimed, because it's TRUE, so you just deny you have even read it instead. To answer your 2nd question, joining the EU was ilegal in 1972, first because Heath promised he would only take Britain if he had first had the 'Full consent of the electorate and Parliament' which is in fact also mandatory. However, due to public opinion being 3-1 against joining, he took us in without. This was not just in breach of a part of our Constitution, it was in breach of many rights enshrined in law. Including the Petition of Rights 1628, The Bill of Rights 1689 and the Act of Settlement 1701 all require the consent of the Sovereign electorate before Constitution change.

@alltypesofvideos9902 No, wrong on all counts ! The UK is the worlds oldest Parlimentary democracy. All our politicians are elected, it's only civil servants who work under our elected governments who are unelected. Also the Queen, though unelected has no power and is not German. The reason she is on the British throne is because she is descended from Alfred the Great the greatest Anglo Saxon King, as well as William the Conqueror the first Norman King. I find it very amusing that Lefties call her German, despite her family only on the throne due to their descent and living here for centuries. Yet any immigrant with no connection here what so ever, who turns up illegally is instantly, and indisputably 'British' or so they claim. Also the Brexit Referendum was a nationwide election and every single vote from every single person in every single country in the UK counted equally in the result. Therefore, if northern Irish voters or Scottish voters had not voted Brexit, we would not have had a Brexit victory, English votes on their own could not have won. In fact, more Scots voted Brexit than voted for the Scottish Nationalist Party who claim Scots want independence from the democratic UK where they have elected representatives making our laws, to join the undemocratic EU where they have no voice or power. That's no doubt why the Scots voted in 2014 to Remain in the UK.

@irrationalreasoning6368 Scotland voted to remain in the UK in 2014 because it was the best choice for Scotland. It's only the SNP that made the rediculous claim that voters only voted to stay because of the EU. In fact, many SNP supporters voted Brexit in 2016, because they realise you can't be independent while a member of the EU dictatorship. So the only people 'f*cking' Scotland are the SNP, just as their Nationalist comrades in Germany did in the 1930s-40s.
