@lookandlisten5740 Zalenskys command of Ukrainian is not very good. However, he agreed to attend the White House to sign the deal he had previously agreed to, that's why the TV cameras were there to record it. However, during the 50 minutes he was there it was obvious he had changed his mind and he was in fact quite rude. Trump and Vance listened politely until the last few minutes before they finally told him not to insult them in their own state building. We must not allow our political opinions to cloud our judgement of what happened, Zalensky was very rude and ungrateful by any measure.

Zalensky speaks Russian, as do up to 40% of Ukrainians according to their official statistics. However, they all must speak Ukrainian to at least a basic level which is where Zalenskys level is. Therefore, I doubt he would swear in a language he doesnt know very well.

I understand the miss translation of something said out of the corner of ones mouth, especially a remark that wasn't intended to be heard. However, its always very rude to insult anyone you are talking to in such a fashion, particularly in their own home during a meeting of international diplomacy. Therefore Zalensky was way out if order what ever he said.

@lookandlisten5740 Zalensky had already agreed and the details were published on Ukrainian media, he was just there to sign it. The comment about not wearing a suit was after he had been beligently demanded more aid but was obviously not going to sign it. That's when Vance pulled he up on his attitude and manners

@lookandlisten5740 I do know what was said, I watched the whole 50 minute televised discussion. You obviously didnt and I've also dealt with your previous statement comprehensively. However, you don't want Zalensky to be in the wrong, you want the Trump administration to be in the wrong, even when they are plainly not on this occasion.

@Geffo555 He had discussed the deal twice, before finally agreeing the details. They were even published online on Ukrainian media. So Zalensky knew exactly what the White House meeting was supposed to be, it just a formality. Yet even after the White House meeting Zalensky is still claiming he was ready to sign the deal at "any time and in any convenient format"???????

@alanhat5252 Nonsense ! Two discussions had already taken place and Zalensky had finally agreed to the deal. He was at the White House to sign it and that's why they had the press there to record it. All the details of the agreed deal had been previously published in Ukrainan media. So if anyone went off script it was Zalensky who had obviously changed his mind, which he has now done again and saud again he is ready to sign .

@Geffo555 So every one is talking nonsense accept Geffo55 ? Even the Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmyhal said the US and Ukraine had prepared a final version of the agreement and they were ready to sign it. Is he wrong too, Geffo55 knows better 😂😂😂

@Geffo555 I see you also resort to insults when you realise you are wrong. If Zalensky didnt want to sign, why did he agree to it and then turn up at the White House to sign ? Even the Ukrainian PM thought that's what he was there for.

@Geffo555 Zalensky had already rejected two deal proposals but accepted the 3rd after further negotiations which he went to the White House to sign. However, his belligerent attitude showed he wasn't going to sign, so he left empty handed. However, now he has claimed he is ready to sign again, perhaps it's part of his negotiation tactics ????? Trump claims $500 billion has already been provided and a Trust was to be set up with US and Ukrainian money to rebuild the country.

@Geffo555 Ask Zalensky, because that's exactly what he did after 2 seperate discussions ! Though when he turned up to sign it, he changed his mind again. But don't worry, he has now changed it back again ! 😂😂😂
