  1. A cashless society is all about Big Brother having control. Once all your money is digital, the Government can turn it off if you don't behave and do as they want. 1000 people a week are losing their bank accounts already, just for having the 'wrong' opinions.

  7. Is it really the EU dictatorship that's funding the SNP ? Devolusion was after all an EU initiative to break up the UK, and it would certainly explain why the SNPs funding hasn't decreased inline with their falling membership.

  8.  @guywilletts2804  Sorry Guy, but you are completely wrong yet again. I wasn't 'sold' anything. Before I made up my mind on the EU I studied its foundation and the philosophy behind it. I discovered it was founded by the Nazi's in the 1930s as a pan European dictatorship, and despite losing WW2 , it was still realised in Rome in 1957. However, I am not a lover of dictatorships, that's why I campaigned hard to get us out, no one 'lied' to me. Because unlike you, I am not a gullible fool who believes what other people tell me, I make up my own mind from the hard facts.

  14. Its very alarming when foreign supported MPs can oust a popular Prime Minister with a huge majority half way through his term, and then work to get him de-selected from his constituency. This is both alarming and worrying that it can be allowed to happen. Our democracy and Brexit is under attack !

  18. That is exactly the problem, the Conservative Party doesn't reflect either it's members or the voters. Instead the party leadership has been taken over and only appoints MPs that will follow their line, rather than the members or indeed their voters. The solution is a completely new leadership and MEPs elected by the member's and if Farage was elected PM the Conservatives would return to their original principles and storm back into Parliament. However, if Fishi stays in office they will be wiped out completely.

Also the Palestinian flag is based on the Arab revolt flag of 1916. Whereas the state of Israel was born in 1948 as was their flag.

  31. ​ @esme68  Yes, British made goods 'were' more expensive. However, with modern manufacturing techniques using robots and AI it no longer is the case. Therefore, after the initial high cost of setting up these factories the goods they then produced would be far more competitively priced.

There was an Official Inquiry that Pritti Patel said she would release in full, however, after she read it it was too harrowing to release. Even those convicted recieved minimal sentences and are now walking the same streets as their victims and can't be deported due to........ yes, you guessed it, the ECHR !

  40. I previously read a report that Jess Phillips employed her husband to run her constituency office from a former shop premises. Even though he is a former Lift Engineer and has not experience running an office, yet she pays him handsomely from her Parliamentary expense account. I suppose she prefers keeping as much tax payers money in the family, rather than employing a proper office worker who could actually do the job.
