@WallaseyanTube Queen Victoria was not born in Germany ! Queen Victoria was born in Kensington Palace London, on the 24th May 1819.

Brexit had no affect on our relationship with Europe. Let alone the smaller part of Europe known as the EU. in fact we do more trade with the EU since Brexit than we ever did as members.

@whatwhat3432523 The facts confirm my comment, but not yours.

WARNING ! Its summertime in Europe and it might be hot......😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

@Daniel-gs9eh Not true ! Most British people do not have German ancestry at all.

@WallaseyanTube Sorry, but Prince Albert was born in the self governing Duchy of Sax Coburg Saxony in 1819. Germany did not become a country untill 1866. Albert was also Queen Victoria's cousin. He was also related to many royal families across Europe as all royal were.

@MrPhoenixWT This conversation wasn't about Anglo- Saxons which infact I also know about and I also know what Saxon means.

@WallaseyanTube Well yes, the land mass we now know as Germany existed long before unification. But it wasn't known as Germany, it was a collection of self governing Duchy's and principalities. These Duchys along with much of Europe had been controlled by the Holy Roman Empire until 1806 but there was no unified state called Germany untill 1866 and there are many german speaking countries that are not a part of it. Also I agree that all European Royals are related and 'germans' have featured consistently. Nevertheless, Queen Elizabeth II mother was Scottish and her father was British so she had very little german blood. Though her son King Charles's blood line is more German due to his father, but its still roughly only half German. And that's as high as it gets because his first wife Diana Spencer had no German ancestry at all. Therefore, Prince William is even more British than his father and neither does his wife Kate Middleton so Prince George is even more British. So to say that they are: ' by and large of German descent' is obviously incorrect.

@WallaseyanTube Obvious nonsense !

@WallaseyanTube What you have written is nonsense, the Royal family is not 'predominantly German' as you claim. They are descended from long line of British royals from Alfred the Great, William the Conqueror and the Scottish royal house of Stuart but like all Royal pedigrees they do contain foreign royals. However, they could not be 'predominantly' foreign or they could not rule in Britain, because royalty is based on descent.

@WallaseyanTube I'm not ranting, I leave that to people like yourself, who are reduced to ranting when they realise they are wrong.

You do realise that the Ukraine war was started by EU interference. Starting with the Coup they started in 2014 to remove a anti EU, democratically elected President and replace him with a pro EU one. And guess what, after Brexit we have now had a coup in Britain, surely just a coincidence.
1
@stargazer-elite Yes I agree, we must all get along with our fellow man in countries across the world. However, it becomes difficult when one of them interferes and tries to undermine a neighbouring Kingdom.

This young criminals death has sparked the same response in France as the American criminal George Floyd did there, rioting, looting and murder. How long before Nahel will be turned into a hero and lionised just as Floyd has been ?

How many Houthis have landed on Britains beaches and are living here at our expense just waiting to attack us.

@whatwhat3432523 You seem to be the one struggling with the facts, and as an Englishman who actually lives in the UK I, unlike you, know what I'm talking about. The official UK Government statistics from the ONS shows that trade with the EU has increased since Brexit, not fallen as you claimed. Have they got it wrong too, or don't you really know what's what, whatwhat ? 🤭
