80% of the electorate didn't think it was a great idea, that's why only 20% voted for Labour's 'landlide' victory.

@Salty_old_Viking The Republic of Ireland are part of the EU salty, and Biden also thinks he is Irish, so they all talk with one voice, but tomorrow who knows who he will think he is. However, the UK just needs to scrap the protocol as it breaks the GF agreement and whether we do it by article 16 or not, I dont particularly care. Also because you get all your info from the 'Express' don't assume we are all so badly informed.
2
@petewright7318 It breaches article 1 of the GF agreement.
2
@Salty_old_Viking They are all from the same source Salty, along with Fascism. Didn't you learn this from the Express ???? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
2
@Salty_old_Viking Apart frrom thinking he is Irish, Biden also believes he is US President, though tomorrow it could be Napoleon, who knows or cares . 🤣🤣🤣🤣 With UK Sovereignty comes the ability to do what is good for the UK and that means tearing up the EUs protocol. I've never read the Express, so couldn't comment. However, you are always quoting it so you must be a regular subscriber. Perhaps that's why you haven't any idea what you are talking about, or perhaps it's because you suffer the same problems that Biden does, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

@Salty_old_Viking The USA is also the UKs largest trading partner and all without a trade deal, oh dear ! In fact, the USA, China and the UK are the EUs top three trading partners and all without any need of either a trade deal or being a member, so what's the point in being a member then, none obviously. Also the EU has far bigger borders than the UK so just think of all the paperwork they have to fill in, especially when they churn out new laws and regulations by the truck load ever year. What did the great Roman politician Tacitus have to say on this? 'The worse the state, the more laws it has' Over 2,000 years ago but he still rings true today ..
2
@Salty_old_Viking More nonsense from Mr Salty Express, Frost didn't stop, he is still talking about it now.
2
@haroldpotter5911 That's the EUs problem to solve, not the UKs.
2
Devolved Parliaments were an EU idea to undermine and break up the UK and theh have worked quite well at that, putting a lot of strain on our union. The one in Wales was passed on a very low turnout and a 0.4 majority. Yet the same people who allowed that, question the much larger Brexit majority. If we want to protect our Union both Parliaments should go with our EU membership and be removed.
2
@valerielow6684 Yes, I found the same problem, but as you said its probably due to the numbers trying to join.
2
VOTE REFORM ! 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
2
No one can believe a word the Liebour Government says. They won an abysmal 20% of the vote and yet even that was won on a manifesto of lies. Their MPs even lied on their CVs. Liebour is a party of very dangerous and treasonously thick lying 🤡
2
Fishi Sunak lost two party elections to become leader but after a coup he still ended up as leader and our PM this time without a vote. So being unpopular and not getting elected has never stopped him before, Fishi is obviously above our democracy.
2
Given loads of money to the French is just like the Rwanda deal, nothing but smoke and mirrors to convince voters the Government is doing something, but they are not !
2
I cancelled my BBC licence a couple of years ago, even though I had previously admired it immensely. But I now refuse to finance it's new Woke agenda, I will not pay for anti British propaganda.
2
The fact that this NI protocol hasnt been sorted out 6 years after we voted Brexit just shows a lack of will on behalf of UK politicians. Apart from the secret talks between the EU and British MPs to frustrate and stop Brexit, we now have Labour a Lib Dems forming an antidemocratic coalition to take us back in ! Therefore, this needs to be sorted out NOW !
2
It's not our Governments that are behind this it's the WEF, our Government are all singing from the same WEF hymn sheet. Thats why its happening to all of us we are not in control, they are !
2
Of course the globalist EU gets on better with the globalist crowned Sunak. But what will U turn Sunak agree to before Christmas ? Will it be another capitulation and give the EU all it wants, plus promise to pay them billion of £s like he did at Cop27 ? Get the globalist stooge out before he bankrupts us !
2
If Boris calls another election promising to deliver Brexit AGAIN, he will lose his majority, just as May did. We gave him an 80 seat majority to delivery a full Brexit. Yet here we are with NI still caught within the EU, and record numbers of illegal immigration swarming across the channel and instead of stopping them, we pick them up and put them in free hotesl. Come on boris we gave you the gun, Use It !
2
Its the people who are Sovereign and the government is selected from amongst them and must obey them, the majority, not the other way around.
2
@harryfaber That's the whole point of my comment harry. She has been given that control by the electorate. Yet she is doing the complete opposite of what they voted for her to do.
2
@wyattfamily8997 Legarde did have a trial and was found guilty !
2
What they mean is, the largest increase in immigration in our history ever !. As Enoch Powell said in the 1960s: 'We must be mad, literally mad' Powell was right then and he would be even more right now.
2
Every day Sunak cancels another Brexit promise just like the globalists who put him in office demand he does.
2
If the BBC is producing nothing but anti British woke propaganda and I chose not to finance it from my wallet. I certainly don't want the Government stealing it from another pocket while I'm not looking .
2
Islamists don't have control of Sadiq Khan, Khan IS an Islamist and is there to further their ends. Just as all Muslims in position of power are all over the country despite being from a tiny minority of only 6% of the British population. This has not all happened by accident, its by design !
2
Vive le France ! Le Pen is mightier than the half baked Macaroon ! 😂😂😂
2
@andrew30m Yes exactly Andrew, I agree with everything you have said. We cant expect another country to police our borders for us, it's our job to do that and if the French can return 33,000 why can we only manage 3,000? Its sound more like Incompetence to me.
2
@hardcorealf8684 No it was AH and the N4zi party who discussed setting up the Eurospaisch Wirtschafts Gemeinschaft EEC/EU in 1938 Rome, in France in 1940 and in Berlin in 1942 it was always to be a N4zi pan European dictatorship, just as it is now.
2
Surely the unelected HofL can only debate, and delay this bill. While the elected HofC can push a bill through very quickly, just as they have done in the past, if they really want too. So come on Boris, if you want to win the next election it has to be done on results, not just more unfulfilled promises.
2
@anonnemo2504 You have to have strength of character to admit you were wrong and then move on and embrace what you once rejected. Truss obviously has these qualities, however there are still a dwindling minority who not only lack these qualities but many others beside. These people are know by the collective title of half wits, and they need professional help.
2
@graemereidy400 No the border was the EUs idea to protect its 'internal market' they claimed. Though they don't care that its harming the UKs much older internal market. The EU with never stop meddling, it's what they do to try and become somehow relevant. But they are not.
2
@graemereidy400 Northern Ireland is a member of the UK not the EU yet the EU needed to protect its borders. However they couldnt put a border between NI and the IR because it would breach the UK- IR Good Friday agreement. So they put their border in the sea separating NI from the rest of the UK and that is the problem because NI couldnt get supplies and ended up with empty shelves.
2
Trigger article 16 and if the protocol cant be sorted out to the UKs satisfaction just tear up the Withdrawal Agreement and go WTO. Let's just put a stop to this EU intransigence.
2
It's not just the illegals , it's the legal immigrants as well. They add up to more than HALF A MILLION each year, this is not only unsustainable, it's also unwanted. The UK needs to leave both the ECHR and all other EU jurisdictions, NOW !
2
@AldriFerdig But we were told after Brexit companies would all leave and set up in the EU. However, the opposite has happened, and it's not just one company, its many others too.
2
@MrDeadhead1952 Sorry Trevor, but Honda closed their Civic manufacturing plant after they signed a trade deal with the EU and no longer needed it. Absolutely nothing to do with Brexit. In fact Honda have sold the factory to Panattonia Europes largest logistics company who are spending nearly £700million redeveloping the site and recruiting thousands of workers . So if you want to see a real clown just look in the mirror, not so clever Trevor !🤣🤣🤣🤣
2
@philking7505 To add to what Gary has already said, Phil King claims because the UK has no deal on finance with the EU, London will lose jobs and influence. Yet in fact, the complete opposite is happening. Over 1,500 EU finance firms are opening London offices since Brexit. Two thirds of these, never had a London presence previously. This information comes from a Freedom of Information request by the finance company Bovill. Ireland, Germany and France top the list of applications. So you can spread your misinformation of Brexit doom and gloom, but the facts of Brexit tell a completely different story.
2
Pritti Useless constantly promises tough action but never delivers. If she wants to resurrect her tarnished reputation it now needs action. We are well passed mere words and promises.
2
@princealex3985 The UK took in 1.1 million immigrants last year alone so it's hardly 'right wing' to say that's not sustainable or desirable.
2
Labour won the last GE with only 20% of the electorates votes in what they described as a 'landslide' !
2
@mijicmugendo It also had an Army prior to WW2, though not having one was also a condition of their WW1 defeat. After their defeat again in WW2 their plans for a Eurospaisch Wirtschafts Gemeinschaft or EU to run Europe were also stopped......... or were they ????????
2
Where did the photo from above the Downing street garden party come from, but Sunaks flat above the garden? Why did he open up a personal promotional website way back in 2021 ? Why did he have a very slick promotional video all set to go hours after Boris resigned ? The answer to all these questions is because Sunak knew Boris was going to be forced out, because he was behind it himself ! What a snake !
2
Do we really believe polls anymore ? Also, I doubt Biden will be standing in 2024, he has trouble doing it now in 2022.
2
Orban is a true Hungarian leader and patriot protecting his country and it's people. Unlike the two faced WEF snake we have here in the UK.
2
I only voted Conservative because Boris promised to deliver Brexit. And I wasn't the only one , Boris was elected with an 80 seat majority to deliver Brexit and he is only half way through doing it. None of the PM candidates are as reliable a choice as Boris was. All except Kemi Badenoch, but she is a Nigerian Yaruba girl (her own words) so does she really qualify to lead the British Government ? I don't think she does, therefore none are as good as the man who we voted for, so what are they playing at ?
2
@mijicmugendo When did I say it did burke ?
2
I used to support the idea of PR untill I experienced a hung Parliament where nothing could be delivered. First past the post does provide us with a stronger Government, as long as they use that power to deliver what we voted for. I'm not keen on a Senate as it sounds too American, cant we just have an elected house of Lords ? At the moment there are far too many of them, we need a cull. A smaller HofL would be far better, whether they are elected or appointed.
2
Parliamentary Sovereignty does not not allow a goverment to pass laws that bind future goverments ?
2
The Conservatives literally committed suicide by removing Boris and his Brexit Government. I'm now a Reform member and will be voting for them from now on.
