@Haris1 Yes, a great idea, and then they would at least not stop each other from winning.

@notch7139 No, the working class wisely voted for the Tories who delivered the Brexi they had voted for which led to the increase in their wages. While the ('foreign) Labour party suffered their worse defeat in a generation. Why ? For being responsible for flooding the market with cheap foreign Labour and trying to deny Brexit and overturn their democratic vote.
3
@notch7139 You keep talking about others being conned, when it's obvious to everyone you are the one who's been conned.
3
@notch7139 Where do I start Notch7 We only left 8 months ago and yet the majority of those Brexit proposals have been delivered. I think you listen to much to the anti Brexit propoganda spread by all the MSM and the Labour party. Just look at Labours Rachel Reves MP and Jo Steven's who claimed Wetherspoons Brexit supporting boss was a terrible employer who was forced to pay his staff after intervention by Rachel Reeves chair of the BEIS an industrial and Business committee. It was all just bollocks, Tim Martin never appeared in front of this committee as claimed, in fact Wetherspoons has won employer of the year award for 17 years. But no apology from Reeves despite receiving a letter of complaint from Martin, though she is no longer chair of the BEIS, no doubt they didnt want a proven liar as chair. But I dont expect I shall receive an apology from you either. That's the way the Left work, make allegations and when they are found out keep quite and disappear, but never appologise.

@oskarh5060 Normally you would have a border where one country meets another and so that would be on the NI - IR border. However, that would breach the GF agreement that the UK signed with the IR. Nevertheless, you cannot have a border running through a country separating one part from the other as the NI protocol wants. So the EU needs to decide, if its principles are more important than peace in NI. A Swiss style solution could be possible as we already have the same regulations just as we did before Brexit.
3
@rodwatson9718 The EU only follows the rules when it suits them, but soon ditches them when they don't. They think they are above the law.
3
@oskarh5060 No, May negotiated what we know as the Northern Ireland Protocol but it was rejected three times by Parliament. When Boris took over he made his own proposals but they were then rejected by the EU. Later a new proposal was agreed in the Withdrawal agreement and contains a unilateral exit close for NI and if triggered allows time to negotiate alternative arrangements. The Protocol isn't working so it should be renegotiated, Lord Frost has provided dozens of proposals but the EU has rejected them all.

@olafbloodaxe5931 Regaining the Sovereignty that 2 generations fought in two World Wars to preserve is beyond price. However, your premise is based on the assumption that all trade with the EU would cease. In reality they need our trade far more than we need theirs, because they export far more to us than we do to them. Once the thick unelected half wits in Brussels realise this, they will stop fooling around and trade properly. Instead of finding 300 odd requirement for us to adhere too, before we can move goods between our own regions.
3
I've been saying this ever since Boris was kicked out, its disgraceful ! We the Sovereign electorate put Boris into office and no one but us, should be able to remove him ! Also, I'm not exactly filled with delight at the individuals lining up to replace him either, we gave that 80 seat majority to Boris to deliver Brexit, as he promised to do if we elected him. We didn't expect this majority to be stolen in a coup by these scheming charlatans.
3
The EUs own Court judged some years ago that EU law is superior to all others. Including any international law or treaties it has signed. Therefore, it doesn't have to abide by them if they think it is detrimental to the EU.
3
@michaelhart895 The Government tells us 'Diversity is our Strength'?????? How can being divided be strong? That's just nonsense! Only a homogeneous united society is strong, just like we used to have pre WW2. So to be honest, I can't see mass uncontrolled immigration ending well, it's a recipe for disaster.
3
@maxdamageIQ I certainly hope so, they could be our last chance.
3
@maccagrabme Not many according to the latest polls. When Boris was leader they had a comfortable lead over Labour, now Labour has twice the support of the Cons.
3
Don’t tread on me Oh shit, too late ! You are all over my boots 💩 !
3
The time for talking about repealing the NI protocol have long past, we need action, not words !
3
@gabbertje-rh7rw The UK is already a member of the WTO in fact the UK was a founding member. However, you do not lose Sovereignty as a member of the WTO. Unlike with the EU, but then the EU is not just a trading block it's a nascent federal state in the making.
3
@seekeroftruthandjust The EU often breaks international law. Most famously perhaps in case No: C-402/05 E:C:208:461. Where their own Court (rather conveniently) judged that EU law is above international law. Yet another reason why the UK must not remain under the jurisdiction of their bogus court of 'justice'.
3
@billsmith3771 But it's obviously a question that you and your hero are the self acknowledged experts on, so I bow to your supremacy.
3
@billsmith3771 Enlighten me then, if you must. Because it was obviously a rhetorical question in the first place.
3
@billsmith3771 More nonsense from Bill. The majority 80% are from Albanian a nice quiet country with no problems. Dublin is the capital city of Ireland and they are still suffering the problems, so nothing to do with leaving the Dublin accord. Britain is no longer isolated, we have been released from the EU prison and am now free at last !
3
@billsmith3771 Not all Albanians are criminals of course, but the decent hard working ones usually remain in their own country to build it up for their decendents, just like ours did here for us. However, though Albanians only make up a small percentage of the UK population they are still massively over represented in UK prisons, they are the most numerous foreign criminals in UK jails. This tells us something, if we are prepared to admit it .
3
@billsmith3771 Yes you did, however I'm pleased you now realise how silly you have been.
3
No depths of treachery is too low for Starmer the liar and deceiver to descend, the British are always sacrificed at any opportunity.
3
You are correct that Labours victory was on only 34% or votes cast. However, whats even more revealing is that it was won on only 20% of the electorate voting for them. Therefore, Labour has no mandate to Govern when 80% of the electorate didn't even vote for them.
3
@FunnyBunny-pd5xx I wasn't claiming that the 22billion was real, just that they both strangely are claiming it. Perhaps you misunderstood ?
3
@annebeignatborde1832 Yes , you are correct Anne. The French economy is in a mess with Government debt significantly higher than Britains and forcast to rise this year as well as next.
3
The 20% elected Labour party and their Dear Leader are making such a cockup of Governance they are alienating even the small number of voters they had. While the CON-servatives are still in intensive care after their suicide attempt and may never recover. This leaves the stage clear for a dynamic thrusting new party like Reform, full ofbriliant new proposals ready to storm in and save Britain . 🥳🥳🥳🥳 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
3
30% of all EU trade checks are made on the tiny NI border. This is a clear sign that these checks are nothing to do with trade, or protecting the EU dictatorships internal market. It's all about punishing the UK for leaving and making an example to dissuade others.
3
@edwardbernthal160 The inflation rate is actually lower in the UK than it is in the EU according to HICP. Also civil unrest is actually rising across the EU, particularly in eastern Europe, but also in France, Germany , Norway , Netherlands and Spain where UK travellers are warned by the GB Government to be cautions. when travelling there. Torbjorn Solvedt principle analyst at Verisk- Mapelcroft warns of rising tensions across the EU during this winter period. Therefore, your ideolised picture of the EU doesn't actualy stack up to reality does it Eddy ? 😁
3
@edwardbernthal160 I see you have no answer to my revelations about your EU promised land Eddy ? It must be a shock to realise the sun is already setting on your EU dictatorship so soon !👈🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
3
I follow politicians with a backbone and unshakeable commitment, Steve Baker the fraudulent chinless wonder has neither. He can't even think of an original insult, he just re-uses secondhand Russell Brand lines. While Nigel Farage, has both a back bone and an unshakable conviction to his country and its democracy.
2
@sw1000xg Lol prove him right then, Muppet!
2
It's very encouraging news, but 2027 is a long time and a lot could happen in those 4 years !
2
@Scott Smith That's the same with any business, however you forgot to mention competition. If a business charges too much the will lose customers, and there is always another supplier who will charge less to get that custom. Therefore, a business has to set its rates between those two parameters.
2
The ECHR was instigated by Britain to bring European law up to British standards after the horrors of WW2. Unfortunately though, it now gives too many rights to the immigrant by taking them away from the citizens.
2
@Scott Smith It's only 'hilarious' if you are a half wit who laughs at everything. The EUs two largest customers are the USA and China, neither have a trade deal with the EU yet both export far more to them than we do, and all on WTO.
2
@Right_is_Wrong You are the only one talking bollocks ! Everyone was talking about leaving on WTO including Boris Johnson. I am most definitely British, and not only did I vote for it, I campaigned for it too. So I, unlike you, know what I'm talking about.
2
@paulfenton7776 NO, wrong again ! The USA is our single largest trading partner and again, all done without a trade deal on WTO. So as I keep telling you, we can still carry on trading with the EU on WTO, but without their meddling in our affairs. The EU is a declining market place, the UK future like our past, is in World Trade, not trading with a declining, out of date, parochial dictatorship.
2
@paulfenton7776 The NI 'problem' is only a problem for the EU. The border in the sea is to solve the need for the EU to protect its internal market, but at the same time its destroying our much older internal market. Also how is leaving the EU going to destroy our economic activity ? When the countries enjoying the most economic activity with them are not, and have never been members ? The USA and China are the EUs 1st and 2nd largest trading partners, followed by the UK at number 3. None of these countries are EU members, and as I keep telling you, but you ignore, the UK is the fastest growing economy in the G7 irrespective of leaving the EU. So therefore, your claim we will go to hell in a hand cart after leaving, is much like all your comments, Remoaner bullshit !
2
@susancurtis1651 Yes agreed , so why has no one launched a vote of no confidence in these twice rejected charlatans?
2
You do not ask a foreign country to patrol your border, you do it YOURSELF ! Apparently the Liverpool bomber did it because he was refused asylum in 2014 ???? 2014 ? why was he still here in 2021 to bomb us ? Was Conservative MP David Amess's murderer another failed asylum seeker? How many of these terrorist has our stupid Government allowed in and put up in Hotels at our expense?
2
Yes there is ! There are three systems of law in the United Kingdom, English, Scottish and Northern Irish and since 2007 Welsh. However, all these systems of law are overarched by United Kingdom Law.
2
@noelwallace5257 If I was referring to the English Constitution I would have said so. However, I was referring to the Constitution of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and NI, which of course does exist.
2
Frost seems to be on of the only politician singing from the same hymn sheet as the electorate.
2
The only difference between these two leaders is Italy's Meloni was elected, while Sunak was imposed on us after a coup. 😡
2
@billsmith3771 We all have the right to free speech including Lineker. However, as a BBC presenter with a nationwide platform he is restricted by the contract he signed with the BBC. If he didn't want to compromise his free speech in order to have a huge pay cheque perhaps he shouldn't have signed it.
2
@billsmith3771 Bill, if you work for many organisations you have to sign contracts that bind you to certain terms. If you work in the Government or Military you sign the official secrets act. So are you telling me if you signed it, you would break your word ? No one is forced to sign these contracts, it's by there own free will, as it was Linekers own free will.
2
@billsmith3771 Breaking a contract has nothing to do with 'cancel culture', it's all about breaking a contract !
2
@billsmith3771 Cancel culture is when someone says something or acted in a way others don't like and so they ostracize them. The ostracized person has no way of knowing he has done wrong because its completely random and often nonsensical. Lineker hasn't been ostracized he has been suspended for breaking his contract, a contract he didn't have to sign, but freely chose to sign.
2
Why don't they just relocate them to the moon permanently! I believe we are already building rocket launch sites here in Britain, they can all go on the test flight. 👍😎
