How amusing to read all the comments of doom below. These are the same people who said the UK couldn't survive outside the EU dictatorship, because no one would want to trade with us. Yet now after seeing the UK signs deal after deal, they now think that's bad instead and will mean disaster. They should all seek psychiatric help in my opinion.

@Random17482 Euan, the notoriously slow EU has been trying to get a free trade deal with Australia for years. The UK has done it after a few months.

@Random17482 By the time the hapless EU finally signs its trade deal, we will probably all be dead and the EU has collapsed under it's own intransigent hubris.

@Random17482 Most of the deals Lizz Truss has negotiated are roll over deals and are EXACTLY the same as the ones the EU took years to negotiate. Which obviously shows they cant get better deals than the UK can. In fact, the deal with Japan is far better and tailored exactly for UK requirements, not a one size fits 27 in the EU case. And of course the Australian deal, which the EU has struggled for years to finalise, but Lizz did in a few months. Let's face it, the EU is a declining trading block for a reason, they are completely useless!!!! 👍😁

@harrismazari5484 Who's we ? Australia is a great country and so are the Australians who are after all our cousins, I even went to school there.
