What a melancholy and truly majestic way to leave this world. Apparently this piper woke the Queen every morning at 9 am from the rocks by the lake and his pipes could be heard all around the mist filled valleys of Balmoral. The Queen last heard him play for the last time on the very morning before she left this earth for ever.
