  1. I was cleaning out my late father’s house and found many pieces of lumber. He was a carpenter since the 1950’s. I can feel the weight difference in the old wood compared to the new wood at the store. Also, the new lumber is warped and lots of crowns. My father told me that is because they pick the wood while the tree is still young.

  2. Lumber prices should spike after the the many tornadoes across America. Lots of rebuilding.
