  2. I know that in the 1960's minimum wage was $1.65 an hour and that in 2005 it would have took $15.00 an hour to buy the same goods. That in 1970 the CEO to minimum wage ratio was 40 to1 , in 1978 it was 78 to 1 , and in 2005 it was 821 to 1! So the average CEO in America was paid more in his first half a days work on his first day, than a minimum wage worker was paid all year! @anagray7521

  3. True and it's people like him that caused the working man's wages to NOT buy as much. Ps : my chip off a penny still applies - not dependent on what a dime bought , based on what he had and what I or many others like me have . @BrotherApexx
