  1. Just an insight and perspective from a non-black here (I'm Filipino married to a White/Puerto Rican woman). I consider myself Pro-Filipino in the same way one claims to be Pro-Black in the most general sense. The level of my knowledge of my culture, pride for my people, love for my country and desire for the next Filipino-American and the community translates to a level of empathy and understanding for someone who attains the same level of pride and love for their own race. It's because of my awareness of the love I have for my race let's me understand and appreciate someone who is also pro of their own race. It's a beautiful thing. At the end we think this way because American society and culture keeps us in arms and defensive. But at the end, I will never give up being a humanitarian for being a patriotism/nationalism.
