@kraijom319 not really the papuans are like a planet different from indonesians they aren't muslim by nature they are animalist and have tribes that have not been contacted nor know indonesia's existence similar with sentinalese in sentinal island not knowing they are in indian land because they belong to india. Sure its a democratic country but dont forget many minorities get surpressed in indonesia like the amungme tribe the yali tribe etc same with malaysia like the penan tribe hunter gatherers that live in sarawak and brunei the orang asli living in mainland malaysia also get surpressed and kept quiet due but at the same time they dont want their land to be destroyed.

@araara4746 arunachal pradesh nagaland meghalaya were once part of hinduism they weren't hard to integrate with indian society like how ahom kingdom accepted hinduism and pretty much india was forming long before outside force interference however for papuans they were justs suddenly dragged and became a part of indonesia without giving them a chance to vote instead the un voted for the papuans anyways i got to read your message i learn a slight more info on it my point was indonesia is a multi linguistic country but is quite bad in terms of who gets rights really

@araara4746 also for the third part there are still uncontaced tribes of indonesia this does not mean they will not fight for their rights but this also means not all know indonesia exists so not all fight for the freedom fighters again indonesia's expanse on west papua is not entirely understood or let alone indonesians knowing the people of west papua is poorly understood
