@acelim6259 in tibet christianity still exists so somewhat a success. Not to mention christianity was a thing since the tamg dynasty when supposed scriptures of christians including notable figures in the xi'an stele like adam and alopen which are christian missionaries whom came to china sometime 7th to 6th century ad. So in that sense it somewhat worked but not for long term.
