@Daniel-jm7ts well true the both island states are like very isolated from france so totally the people in the two islands would invent their own language since they are not in the mainland

@Daniel-jm7ts well the revolution kind of used the islands as advantage to them so they kinda force the islanders to speak french but i think this days the islanders are more of used to speaking their own made language preserved for many centuries.
