@dr.elvis.h.christ good thing my father's purchase on a honda bike 20 years ago is still running smoothly. Tho there was one time he had to change a light bulb and that was it. Not once in my life did i saw my father need engine repairs besides the light issue but thats about it. I doubt byd would last even 5 years and heck i wont buy that car because its more expensive than my honda bike. Not worth my wallet, warranty price included.

@metalic1990 sorry but my dad's honda(not german) says otherwise. Older than byd and is still running. The only repair it needed was lights, not even the engine needed repairs but cleaning i guess.

Understood. The car with fire hazard issues and many reports that have been silenced in china, yes many videos circulate online about fire problems that happen to byd lithium battery cars. So yes they are stone age but also smart not to buy and that car's warranty is probably bad for the 60k. Rather buy a ford than a byd and that byd can't last longer than my dad's honda that is older than byd itself😂

@deeznoots6241 you can watch scmp news, china observer laowhy68 etc. Carnewschina: BYD has filed a recall of nearly 100,000 vehicles due to a manufacturing fault. According to China’s State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), the automaker will recall 96,714 Dolphin and Yuan Plus vehicles in China starting September 30th, 2024 due to fire risks. This confirms the thousands of car fires by byd so that doesn't make the car "worst" it makes it worser. So your still denial my guy.

@xiaoxiaopeng8207 you might be shocked but the highest standard is volkswagon. Volkswagon has safety features like no fire reports. In china many reports are from byd's because they have low lithium battery safety features.
