@mikebauer6917 unless you ask emirates since some of the staff are mostly from india or pakistan etc which they dont get paid that well even for infrastructure and other jobs because of racial issues so if 40 percent of budget goes to labor it will probably go to emirati staff not the immigrant staff so in a way i think ceo would control both sides tho not sure for those under work permit.

@boohere2 first of all you never consider oil prices which back then was cheap however now its expensive plus you need alot of food inside the plane which also takes alot of space and yeah cooking food needs cooking oil which costs alot so all food is baked or use less cooking oil and at flight is preheated and served to cut costs instead of just cooking in flight.
