This time Michael I beg to differ. I've been working for 50 years as a waitress and right now I live in Clearwater Florida and all the restaurants are busier than anything. I work at a Bob Evans and we have lines out the door. I don't understand it I don't know how people are affording to go out to eat. But maybe they're just using their credit cards and we get a lot of old people that come to restaurants also because they don't want to cook. And we have a lot of Uber eats DoorDash all kinds of people picking up food so people are spending the big bucks on home delivery and I think because people are spoiled and that's the last thing they're gonna give up on his going out to eat. That's my perspective and that's what I've been seeing going on around Clearwater at restaurants. Just thought I'd tell you that. Love your videos Alw

Well you're right about that I was raised in California and I moved here about 40 years ago and now because of New Yorkers they can afford to flat out by the house with cash and California people also as Florida people are having a hard time affording a house they're all moving down here so they're raising up the prices on everything they ruined everything.

Hi there, I would like to mention that my daughter had her whole home destroyed by the hurricane in Port Charlotte Florida she had flood insurance $500 a month and I believe that was the cheapest. But not all flood insurance is the same. She had mold growing everywhere inside her home and her flood insurance only covers the structure and didn't cover the most important part of it that is mold. So please everybody read your contract completely. All items that had mold on them weren't covered by this flood insurance either. So it's gonna cost thousands to recoup on that. Don't just assume flood insurance means everything it doesn't. And for 500 bucks extra a month for just flood insurance, that should've been included.

Video is so important to me. My daughter lives in Port Charlotte and her home got destroyed basically flooded and this information starting at the 14 minute mark was so important to know and I'm going to share this with her. Thank you for helping us and guiding us and what to do and this kind of situation. God bless you sir.

You definitely have a point. Where does our excess home taxes go to? And you're right the county was doing just fine with the taxes they collected so where is all this triple amount for each of us of the taxes going to and where can we find out what they're doing with our taxes. Are they supposed to show us what they do with our money?

I must say, I really enjoyed this video it's from real people with their thoughts and views of what's happening it's casual and unscripted. Great job

Hi Michael, I told my daughter to subscribe to your channel because it's so informative. So she did and she said mom Michael was right this flood insurance where I live in Sarasota is over the top now. Just the flood insurance alone not including the regular insurance was two years ago was $2500 last year was up to $3500 this year oh my gosh, she said mom I don't know what I'm gonna do it is now $10,900 just for the flood insurance and I have a $10,000 deductible because the flood insurance would've been double the $2500 back then. But finding out she talked to her home insurance company and he said that they could probably get it out $4000 or so but it's only if the mortgage company excepts the policy which we're not sure they will. And now with the homeowners taxes that are going up with the regular home owners insurance then you top it off with the flood insurance she's really scared she don't want to lose the home with her husband and two year-old child.

Hi there, I also want to say car insurance, homeowners insurance all these added fees the cost of homes everything it is so hard to live off of Social Security when everything is getting so expensive. I mean I cannot retire right now because of these expenses that constantly go up I'm 66 a widow and I would love to enjoy the fruits of my labor and start having a little fun. But no I have to continue to work because of these added fees and high cost of living. It's so irritating

You're absolutely right you said that months ago that even if there's a hurricane people soon forget and they come back two- fold to buy a home. My daughter and her husband's home was destroyed in the hurricane they live in Port Charlotte Florida and when they moved there six months ago she couldn't believe all the different languages so many different foreigners that are out there buying homes she felt strange going to Hobby lobby or different stores they were all foreign. So that's what's probably happening foreigners don't care they just come in and buy and you're right the homes are getting more expensive and they're building codes are getting tougher. But also flood insurance home insurance is really going up.

The markets are actually down they're just playing with the markets right now pumping it up but it's gonna come down crashing hard. It's just a false sense of comfort and hope . And the smart ones will get out while they can. This is just a game you're playing right now but with all that I'm saying it has to crash. I won't get into politics and what's being played with the deep state and all. But it's going d

Would absolutely love if you could list the 17 mortgage Insurance companies that are pulling out.

Well with myself personally I do want to stay up-to-date so keep on doing what you're doing. I don't want you to candy coat anything like Dave Ramsey or these commenters that only want to hear the good stuff. We need to hear the good the bad the ugly
2
Yeah all these companies blame the pandemic for everything that's there a new get out of jail card
2
Wrong we don't have to wear the mask anymore. Why do you say that?
2
Just pushing gloom and doom I guess that's how you make your money. Always saying this is not going well and people have to wake up because of all the job losses. Are you kidding me? Elon Musk is cleaning house and if you do your homework you will find out that us American people are going to benefit from all of this. Donald Trump said the golden age Elon Musk is cleaning up getting our money and proposing to pay us Americans and doing much much more. You're just pandering to the people that lost their jobs but actually it's going to create other jobs things are already being straightened out from the administration and Donald Trump's new cabinet members it would take too long to tell you everything but you like to push how awful it is
2
For me I personally like in your videos when you tell me stories about other people and their homebuying experience and what's going on.
2
You are so well informed not too many people know about Nixon and getting off the gold standard and what really went down. It's criminal the deep state and others Roth Childs builder birds so many others have really milked us all dry
2
I just looked up Doorstead property company. And darn it they're only on the West Coast. San Diego Sacramento places like that. Is there a company like this that does the same thing on the East Coast? Boy that sounded so good until I looked up to where they're located

I was just told that my restaurant one of my customers lady and her husband she just found out that it was announced on the news that citizens is pulling out of Florida. I don't know how true that is I'm gonna try to look and find out but that would be really bad for people in Florida
1
What a negative Debbie downer there is good news coming around the corner about no property taxes look what happened in just the last month the Donald Trump's been in office he's kicking ass and taking names. Give it just a little bit more time for everything to roll out instead of pushing doom and gloom.
1
I could be wrong but I heard state form is totally getting out of Florida because of the cost of paying out. But they will continue to do auto insurance.
1
Hi Michael. I don't care with the other comment or say, I'd rather hear reality and what's really going on then someone that just makes light of everything and doesn't really tell you the truth. I think it's very positive because it helps us to decide whether we're going to buy a house a condo especially with the association dues and the fees you're warning us so you're actually helping us. I don't see why people don't comprehend that. You're saving us from maybe a very expensive mistake. So for me just keep on doing what you're doing .
1
Well I heard that they're going to self serve check out there's not gonna be any people cashiers anymore. I guess we'll see.
1
Well I'm thinking the reason for the increase of homes being available is that if you're adding in all the condos that are now for sale because of all the assessments and charges that's going to happen in 2025 well that might be the reason why we're having more homes on the market. There's a record high condos up for sale now
1
Where are used to be for you I've been with you for a long time but this is getting ridiculous I think you get more clicks from fear prone information now and you don't tell about a lot of the good things that are happening with Donald Trump Elon Musk and how they're saving money and how they're going to pass it on to us American people it's called the golden age but see you don't mention any of the positivity it's all negative and now I'm going to have to say goodbye because now I know it's because of your channel and you just want to make money instead of also showing us the positive that's happening now in government as we speak

Hi there, I have a home loan from M&T BANK now I'm a little worried because I've been saving up my money for a few years and I decided to put $20,000 down for the principal and pay my $857 each month and I got it down to pay it all off in a year and a half. That was my goal. But my question is if my bank goes bankrupt what happens to my loan??
1
Well what do I do because I'm a server and I get all my tips in cash I need to go to a place to drop off the money to put in my bank account. So that's my issue you got to be able to take money and maybe I want to take money out of the bank and get cash to buy groceries. So what do you say about that? Thank you
1
Yes I like the idea of disclosure when it comes to floods in a neighborhood. My daughter bought a house and she didn't realize every single year that street of hers floods because there's a river and the overflow always happens even with a small amount of rain they've had a flood now for the last two years since they bought the house two years ago.
1
Well I found out why they're telling people on paper that the job market is high. First reason is these companies get a kick back and lower insurance for employees that get fired and go for unemployment compensation. So if they show that they have lots of jobs listed out there it somehow lowers the companies insurance. The second reason they say the job markets high but yet lots of people are filling out hundreds of applications and no one's hiring them is because, they have it always constantly revolving with the same jobs just in case the companies need and can choose from a well qualified person. It's so unfair
1
Well I've been paying down my house now and I decided not to Carrie insurance I don't live in a flood zone which that's the reason why and my daughter lives in Venice Florida she's had three floods she was lucky to get any money and it was for pennies on the dollar. And that didn't come until about a year later for the first hurricane and in the meanwhile she didn't have a place to stay they got a camper and then the camper on the property got flooded with the second hurricane it's been terrible. So I am going to not carry Annie home insurance because of all the work the phone calls FEMA it is horrible process to go through. After I see what happened to my daughter and son-in-law and baby. I'll take my chances all these 4050 years I haven't had any problems with any of my homes and I've been in this one 14 years... But what I will do is I will put some money aside every single month and it could be 510 years down the line if something happens I'll go get myself an apartment or by myself outright a van motorhome if I had to I will be perfectly fine. I don't have expensive things in my house anyway. Well anyway that's what I'm gonna do these companies are a scam so the car insurance industry a scam
1
It really amazes me when people are talking about Biden like he's the president .He's been gone for about three years that's an actor wearing a mask if you look previous years past and it's so obvious that is not our president he's a fake playing out his role in the Trump military white hat show..
1
Oh certainly if I was you Michael I would've went up to the little kids and explained about they're being alligators around there who cares what the parents think I would warn them. And I would also look around for the parents and say what are you doing. I'm very bold I would speak up. A lot of people they just walk on by and I think as a community we should take care of one another and if you see harm worn them I don't care of your signs pointed out to them.
1
Since you had to stay there and not enjoy your vacation as much because of the handyman and plumber coming in to fixing things. The owner should've gave you one inconvenience discount antique 30% off for not being able to just relax and not deal with people in the house fixing what was broken and also the plumbing oh my gosh that was horrible . So I would definitely give them two stars at the most.
1
We have too big of government right now I don't believe the government should get involved that's just another form of communism. Regulations more red tape. If you own it you can do what you want with it. That's the American way
1
I do agree there is a lot of active housing available out there. But the problem is they're very expensive for the average Joe so that's why my daughter and son-in-law can't get a house because it's over 400,000 and they can't afford that like most of us middle-class people
1
I disagree I've spent my whole life in California and I've been here for 35 years and there's a lot more to do here in Florida they have the wax museum they have downtown Orlando with arcades and Disneyland and alligator land and Busch Gardens and little towns so many activities
1
Yes these commenters that complain that you only talk negative don't understand that you have to addressed the reality of what's coming .I am so glad you do that Michael. People want to put their heads in the sand in denial. But I'll buy myself appreciate the heads up that you give all of us out here.
