  2. Every time these shore towns get destroyed by storms and floods they make a point of saying "we're tough, we'll rebuild, we won't let this beat us." That's not admirable, that's being in denial. Also, why must the rest of us keep paying for their stupid choices? The ocean is rising and storms are getting worse, thanks to global warming. People want freedom but they want the rest of us to pay for their poor choices.
