@dehz4948 No reasonable person thinks Floyd would've died without that knee on his neck. It strains credulity to say the drugs alone killed him and the knee just happened to be on his neck but had no effect.

Good point. Even if we stipulate Floyd was in the throes of overdosing and not being choked by the knee, cops still were negligent by failing to provide aid. No matter how you look at it the bottom line is that this whole mess could have been avoided if cops had handled it better. Such as tying Floyd's legs and putting him in the squad car.

It sucks but defense lawyer is obligated by law to zealously defend his client and poke holes in the prosecution. On the flip side, sometimes innocent people are convicted because of crooked prosecutors.

@dawm12711 You know that and I know it. But the defense needs just ONE juror to have doubt that the knee killed him. I feel confident that Chauvin will at minimum be guilty of 3rd degree murder; 2nd degree is tougher to prove.
