Key point you missed, Nate: 8:09 shows he rented the bike at 7:25 and returned it TO THE SAME STATION 6 minutes later, proving he DID NOT NEED THAT BIKE after all.

From Citi Bike rental agreement: You may not allow others to use a Bicycle that You have unlocked or removed from a Bike Dock. You understand that when You unlock a Bicycle or remove a Bicycle from a Bike Dock, the Bicycle may be used only by You. Nurse rented the bike. She was following the rule by not allowing the boy to use it.

Why didn't the teen just rent a different ebike? It makes no sense for him to insist on re-renting the same ebike he just returned.

Watch as I destroy the "black boy is the victim" narrative: a) boy docked bike at 1 Ave & E 30 St at 7:19PM (see receipt) b) nurse rented bike at 7:24PM (see her receipt) c) boy forced bike into dock at 7:25PM (see video) d) boy rented same bike at 7:25PM and returned to same dock (1 Ave& E 30th St) at 7:31PM. (See boy's receipt) e) boy rented same bike from same docking station (1 Ave & E 30th St) 28 minutes later at 7:59PM and rode to Lincoln Ave. (see boy's receipt) d) and e) prove beyond all reasonable doubt that he did not need to keep the nurse from taking the bike. Bonus: Yes, there were "other bikes available" for the nurse but none of them were ebikes. The only people making this about race are racists.

For people defending the boy: From Citi Bike rental agreement: You may not allow others to use a Bicycle that You have unlocked or removed from a Bike Dock. If boy wants to stand there with his hands on the bike keeping others off it he is free to do so once he rents it and unlocks or removes from the dock. Otherwise, move the hell away from it and let others have it. Hope this clear up your confusion.

@ReneeR877 Did you not watch the video and explanation? She rented the bike but the teen refused to get off it.

@hisoralragings3190 Yes. The rule is that when a bike is in the dock it's available to rent. There is no rule that allows for squatting on a bike you intend to rent later. I really wish people would stop defending abusers of the system.

@hisoralragings3190 From Citi Bike rental agreement: You may not allow others to use a Bicycle that You have unlocked or removed from a Bike Dock. Says everything. He was not allowing others to use a bike but he had not unlocked it from the dock. He broke the rule.

Show me in writing the citi bike rule about a 5 minute wait; I can't find it on their site.

Do you hate all blacks or just the ones that are criminals?
