  4.  @davidvonkettering204  But it should happen, esp. if suspect is endangering civilians by driving the wrong way. Of course, cops must be sure there are no innocent victims also in the getaway car.

  5.  @davidvonkettering204  Wrong, what you described is very uncommon. If cops block the suspect properly it's almost impossible for him to break through and flee. Too many times we see cops leave a huge gap for suspects to just drive through with little to no contact with the cruisers.
