But he didn't drop the gun. Quite the opposite. He didn't want to be caught with the gun so he hid it behind his body and TOSSED it behind the fence thinking the cop would never see it.The cop DID NOT SEE HIM TOSS THE GUN and the video confirms the cop COULD NOT HAVE SEEN HIM TOSS IT. We only know he tossed it in hindsight after watching the video. The cop didn't have the benefit of multiple video angles. The cop reasonably thought the suspect was still holding the gun and had to act in self defense. But this does not suit the "cop ruthlessly shot an unarmed child" narrative.
