  1. Defense says "I ate too many drugs." Prosecution says "I ain't doin' no drugs." It's a wash. More important what else Floyd said about the knee on his neck, about his face in the ground. Should remove all doubt about the knee on his neck.

  3. Defense is trying to create doubt but it's not REASONABLE DOUBT. We already knew Floyd had drugs in his system so Floyd saying so proves nothing further.

  5. I don't like it either but that is his job: to defend his client zealously and let the jury decide. I think the evidence against Chauvin is overwhelmingly against him and the jury will see this. He might escape from Murder 2 and Murder 3 but no way he escapes manslaughter.

  6.  @notlikely4468  We already know Floyd was on drugs from the autopsy. So whether or not Floyd says so proves nothing.

  7. We know drugs were in his system, therefore Floyd could say he swallowed 100 pills and it wouldn't change a thing.
