  1. Fix up an old pickup? Well, as long as the body and frame are descent, hell yeah, new pickups are $70,000 average priced. That's a new engine, new transmission, new radiator, new brakes, new rear bearings and more money left over than you can stuff in your pocket!

  2. I was actually considering putting a few grand in my old pickup. The thirteen year old 360 Dodge V8 had 210,000 miles on it and didn't leak or burn any oil! The problem was the body didn't hold up. Underneath was solid rust on everything.
