  2. When we were redoing the kitchen in our house, we had the kitchen light fixture hanging down until the work was done. One night I was passing by the light in the dark to get a drink of water. As I passed the light, I thought I saw a flash of light. At first I thought it was a passing car or my brain short circuiting. When I passed it again the light shined. I was perplexed until I held the light. I then realized that it was the static electricity in my fleece robe that caused the electrons in the light to get excited.

  4. Yes, the Dodge slant six cylinder engine almost put Chrysler out of business because it was inexpensive to fix and was very reliable running so long that people weren't trading in their old cars for new ones.

  8. Planned Obsolescence: And this folks is why we haven't progressed much since the 1950's. Oh yeah the computers are faster and smaller but all forms of transportation have not evolved from jet engines and internal combustion engines. We still use fossil fuels for everything. Everything we have and use now was designed or engineered in the 1950's.

  11. Haven't watched the movie Oppenheimer yet but would be willing to bet that the character played by Cillian Murphy smokes copious amounts of cigarettes just like he did in Peaky Blinders. *cough*, *hack*, *wheeze. 😂
