  5. Planned Obsolescence: And this folks is why we haven't progressed much since the 1950's. Oh yeah the computers are faster and smaller but all forms of transportation have not evolved from jet engines and internal combustion engines. We still use fossil fuels for everything. Everything we have and use now was designed or engineered in the 1950's.
