  1. My parents had a Fridgedarie refrigerator back in the mid 1950's. It outlasted 3 side by side refrigerators (Tappan, Admiral, and GE) and was still functioning after 45 years. Only thing it needed was a new door gasket as old rubber gasket dried out but kept everything cold and if turned up could double as a freezer.
