You're about five years too late to enjoy World of Warships. It's been hampered by a terrible rework of a rework on a rework of carriers and the introduction of submarines to the game that has been a mitigated disaster. Many long time veteran players have left the game and the only new players are uninformed or uninterested players who have mommy's credit card to buy tier ten premium ships right away with having no time invested in the game. It's gone from fun to frustrating and many players will agree.

I hope the fate of the sub has a beneficial outcome. The U.S.S. Slater the last surviving destroyer escort ship in existence. They've turned it into a regional museum popular with groups of young people wanting to know about WWII. It has major support from the state and local governments as well as a great support group of volunteers who have not only kept it floating but improved it.
